How It Works
Mentorship That Starts From Within

Peertivity builds leaders by preparing students to mentor their peers—grounded in the AIM model and the values of servant leadership.
The result? A school culture that strengthens itself from the inside out
Here's a step-by-step breakdown of the entire process:

Start with a Conversation
We begin with a call to understand your campus culture, student needs, and existing support systems. From there, we shape a Peertivity plan that complements what’s already working and identifies areas for deeper trust-building.

Identify and Prepare Peer Mentors
Student leaders are invited to step into mentorship roles after demonstrating alignment with the AIM model: Appreciate, Investigate, Motivate. These students receive direct training in servant leadership, peer support, and trust-building practices—becoming the first spark in the Peertivity cycle.

Engage Community Mentors
In addition to student mentors, trusted local leaders—alumni of the AIM or PACE programs, educators, and local servant leaders—join the process to anchor broader mentorship. These community mentors guide, support, and model long-term leadership through lived experience.

Launch the Mentorship Cycle
Mentorship begins. Peers support peers through weekly sessions, one-on-one check-ins, collaborative problem-solving, and restorative dialogue. Trust grows from within, and the flywheel starts to turn.

Lead Through Action
As trust builds, student mentors begin leading initiatives: organizing restorative circles, contributing to school decision-making, and modeling leadership daily. With ongoing support, the program expands from mentorship to cultural momentum.

Reflect, Adapt, and Sustain
We help schools gather real feedback, capture success stories, and adapt where needed. Peertivity provides tools to track impact and maintain a mentorship system that grows stronger each semester.
